Dave and Lise are pleased to offer general or sport specific Personal Coaching to all levels and abilities. Combined, the two principals of the Natural Fitness Lab Dave and Lise, have raced 2 Olympic Games and 200 World Cups; winning 7 medals, including four (4) Gold. Each of them holds past National Champion titles. Lise is a sports physiologist and educator and Dave is a practicing engineer and was ranked 3rd in the World for summer biathlon and 4x Eastern Canadian Mountain running Champion. Together, they have mentored thousands of people to ski and run to their potential - including Olympics dreams. Dave and Lise wrote the ski manuals and have produced more DVDs on skiing and trail running than anyone else. In 2012, Lise and Dave were honoured and humbled to receive the Community Builder Award 2012 from the Ottawa, Endurance Community, and Canadian Trail Running Magazine, Contributers of the Year.


Dave and Lise are currently members of the Salomon Flight Crew Trail Running and Madshus Cross Country Factory Ski Teams. In 2009-2010, Dave was ranked top 5 in the national trail running circuit, Snowshoeing silver medalist Canadian championships, and top 3 master cross-country skiing. Lise was top-3 nationally ranked (age group) in trail running, cross-country running and skiing.

The coach needs to see the athlete at practice and receive regular feedback. The most successful athletes follow their program, attend practice, keep a log and communicate with their coach, training partners and competitors. We expect feedback in-person at least every week, before and after big races, so we can adjust the program and offer support.




I am medically fit to undertake strenuous exercise. I understand that I will have opportunities to discuss all aspects of my program with the coaches and ultimately It is my decision to follow the exercise advice. I will provide feedback to the coaches.
